Our Process
Sometimes, creating a website can seem like a confusing task, but it doesn't have to be. We've listed out below our general process so you know what to expect.
You've already taken the first step of the process!
- You get in touch with us.
Browse our website then or fill in a contact form or email us. Failing that, give us a call.
- We find out more about you, your business and your needs.
We have a good old fashioned chat about what you want and need with lots of questions.
- We outline a set of clear goals.
We set out criteria which the project must pass to be completed.
- We present a complete specification.
We give you a document which details the targets, functionality, delivery times, checkpoint phases, costs and the design brief.
- We make sure the website structure is right for the users.
We use personas to help us map out the structure of the site, highlighting the main key pages and where they lead to, in order to get the structure of the site right.
- We look at what needs to be included on every page.
We use wire-frames to make the process easier and faster when re-arranging the site to make sure we get it right for you.
- We look at the presentation of the site.
We create colour schemes that we think suit you and help to get your message across. The graphics that will be used on your site as well as other design aspects such as suitable typefaces are researched.
- We give you a sneak preview.
We put the wireframe, colour scheme, typeface together to give you a feel of the final site, and together we tweek the design. You give us the content you would like on the site.
- Construction begins.
We build the site and test it to make sure it does what it should and we make sure that you are fully trained up
- Launch time.
Finally we launch the site, monitor it and help you plan for future improvements.
